Outdoor movie lovers will find a home in AmCan this summer.
Join the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Napa Valley – American Canyon for their Saturday Summer Movie Nights to see some great movies free, outdoors in a beautiful setting! The fun starts at 7:30 pm every Saturday night. The Napa Valley community is invited to enjoy summer classics, blockbusters and family friendly must-sees. DoubleTree by Hilton is excited to host movie nights every Saturday beginning June 1st through the end of August! June 1 – 50 First Dates – Henry Roth is a man afraid of commitment up until he meets the beautiful Lucy. They hit it off and Henry think he’s finally found the girl of his dreams, until he discovers she has short-term memory loss and forgets him the next day.
June 8 – Beauty and the Beast – A prince cursed to spend his days as a hideous monster sets out to regain his humanity by earning a young woman’s love.
June 15 – Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Three decades after the Empire’s defeat, a new threat arises in the militant First Order. Defected stormtrooper Finn and the scavenger Rey are caught up in the Resistance’s search for the missing Luke Skywalker.
June 22 – Fast and Furious – Los Angeles police officer Brian O’Conner must decide where his loyalty really lies when he becomes enamored with the street racing world he has been sent undercover to destroy.
June 29 – Mamma Mia – The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA.
July 6 – National Treasure – A historian races to find the legendary Templar Treasure before a team of mercenaries.
July 13 – Up – Seventy-eight year old Carl Fredricksen travels to Paradise Falls in his home equipped with balloons, inadvertently taking a young stowaway.
July 20 – Back to the Future – Marty McFly, a 17-year-old high school student, is accidentally sent thirty years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the maverick scientist Doc Brown.
July 27 – Footloose – A city teenager moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit shakes up the populace.
August 3 – The Wedding Singer – Robbie, a singer, and Julia, a waitress, are both engaged, but to the wrong people. Fortune intervenes to help them discover each other.
August 10 – The Little Mermaid – A mermaid princess makes a Faustian bargain in an attempt to become human and win a prince’s love.
August 17 – Jurassic Park – During a preview tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.
August 24 – Jaws – When a killer shark unleashes chaos on a beach community, it’s up to a local sheriff, a marine biologist, and an old seafarer to hunt the beast down.
August 31 – La Bamba – Biographical story of the rise from nowhere of early rock and roll singer Ritchie Valens who died at age 17 in a plane crash with Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper.
