Privacy and Terms of Use

American Canyon Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to protecting your privacy as you use our websites. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our website and the choices you have associated with that data. Your California Privacy Rights: California resident, you have the right to receive: a) information identifying any third-party companies to whom American Canyon Chamber of Commerce may have disclosed, within the previous calendar year, personal information pertaining to you and your family for that company’s direct marketing purposes; and b) a description of the categories of personal information disclosed. Information We Collect About You Personally Identifiable Information We provide forms and links in places throughout the websites for you to send comments, to ask for more information, and to report problems you may experience on our site. Even if you email us through one of our response forms on the site, we cannot determine your email address unless you include it in your response. American Canyon Chamber of Commerce may collect information from you when you fill in an online form for any of the services available on our website, for example, e-newsletter sign up, visitor guide requests, contest and sweepstakes entries. We may also collect information you give us over the telephone in written or other communications, and in person at our visitor center. The type of information we will collect includes, for example, your name, mailing address, email address, telephone numbers, and other information specific to the requests that are being made by you regarding the service you are wanting us to provide.

Email Marketing Opt-in You may decide to receive email promotions from American Canyon Chamber of Commerce, including our monthly e-newsletters. When you voluntarily choose to receive this information, you are added to American Canyon Chamber of Commerce’s email marketing lists. Your information will remain on this list until you request to be removed – you may update your information or remove yourself from this list at any time. Please click the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any e-newsletter you receive to be removed from the list. Participation in any American Canyon Chamber of Commerce sponsored contests and sweepstakes may also require the disclosure of contact and demographic information. This information is necessary to contact potential winners. It will not be used to send you promotional information unless you have indicated that you wish to receive such correspondence.

Cookie And Tracking Technologies American Canyon Chamber of Commerce may automatically collect information as you browse, such as Internet Service Provider, browser type and version, operating system and device type, average time spent on our site, pages viewed, information accessed, the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet and other relevant statistics. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected such personally-identifiable information from a child under 18 years of age, we will promptly take reasonable measures to delete such information from our systems.

Protecting Your Information Reviewing/Updating Your Information You have the right to review your information at any time. If you would like to review your information within our contacts database, update it, or remove it, please contact privacy@amcanchamber.org. If you would like to be removed from or change your subscriptions to any of our e-newsletters, there is a link at the bottom of every e-newsletter that allows you to do so.
