The Great American Canyon Quest

American Canyon

Part scavenger hunt. Part road race. All kinds of awesome! See American Canyon as you’ve never seen it before! Explore local businesses, complete fun tasks, and earn cool prizes.

Decorate your car and your team (You might win a prize for the best team spirit!)

The game turns on Saturday, October 12, at 9:00 am. The game turns off at 1:00 pm.

Join us from 3:00 – 4:00 pm at LASO Restaurant for the Awards Celebration and small bites to eat. How to play: You will be submitting a photo or video, or checking-in at a specific location or solving a puzzle or riddle. While you receive the points right away, all submissions are subject to review by the Gamekeeper. You may even get bonus points if your submission is extra impressive!

Pick up Your team packet with instructions on how to download the game app and other fun goodies at Welcome Center Thursday or Friday. The game begins on Saturday.

Movies Under The Stars at The DoubleTree

Join the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Napa Valley – American Canyon for their Saturday Night “Movies Under The Stars” to see great movies free, outdoors in a beautiful setting! The fun starts at 7:30 pm; the October 12 movie is Finding Nemo.

Every Saturday join us at the DoubleTree as they screen a mix of timeless classics and family faves. Feel free to pack a picnic – and they’ll pop the popcorn and refreshments for purchase. This free movie series is perfect for date nights, quality time with the fam, or just because.

A Spooky AmCan Hike

Calling all ghosts & goblins! Join us for a fun, Halloween themed family hike. Venture out on an easy 1.5-mile hike on the gravel trail around the retention pond at the Wetlands Edge trailhead of the Napa Bay River Trail. Our friends at Napa County Resource Conservation District will be on hand to teach you about the nocturnal animals that frequent our trail. Costumes are encouraged; light fall snacks will be provided. And don’t forget your trick or treat bags!

Halloween at the Plaza

Thursday, October 31, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Come on out for Halloween at the Plaza treats provided by your local businesses. Bring your little monsters for an afternoon of Halloween fun at the Plaza! Trick or treat at the Plaza’s shops and stop in for some fun goodies! Costumes are encouraged, and older kids are welcome to participate throughout the afternoon and into the evening (while treats last).
